An important part of our faith is reaching out to those in and beyond our local community. We don't just "worship" the icons of Christianity; we also strive to follow in the ways and teachings of Jesus Christ, including his commandments to love and serve one another.
Local Outreach
The members and friends of The United Church of Christ - Cedar Falls enjoy working with several area charities and service organizations. Some of these activities are undertaken by organized groups at special times during the year (e.g., cheer boxes prepared by our Morning Circle), while others involve volunteers from the congregation on an as-needed basis (e.g., Meals on Wheels).

Our Church's Wider Mission (OCWM)
The United Church of Christ shares as a denomination a commitment to international causes and concerns. As such, we consistently provide support to Our Church's Wider Mission (OCWM) and related projects. Through this program, the UCC-CF can make our offerings reach across the globe to help those in need.
Throughout the year, special OCWM projects (most often presented to the congregation by members of our Service Board) are undertaken to serve special needs. Among these are the Seeds of Hope campaign and annual Blanket Drive.
